The Runnin Rebels of Yorktown is a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) basketball team. 

We focus on the fundamentals of the game and believe in positionless basketball.

What makes this team different?

We teach kids how to play instead of teaching them plays.

In addition to instructing the strategies of basketball,

we instill life lessons and values such as character, teamwork, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.

We support the philosophy of the Positive Coaching Alliance and the Jr. NY Knicks and utilize a positive coaching approach to bring out the best in our players.
